We develop and discover for the most wonderful target group in the world - the children.
Ever since the Habermaaß and Wehrfritz companies were established in 1938, our companies have focused on working for children. Our aim with our products and campaigns is to support their development, to make their life more exciting, more cheerful and more delightful in a nutshell, more what children deserve.
Our claim is underpinned by the corporate philosophy "Top-quality products for children to use and enjoy". And it obviously works - our corporate family's brand names are bywords for top quality, product reliability and environmental consciousness. Our quality management has been ISO 9001 certified since 1996.

Just like our target group - children - we grow, too:
1980 The Skaneateles Handicrafters company in the USA is taken over and renamed T.C.Timber, Habermaass Corp.

1987 The JAKO-O mail order firm is set up. Its toys, clothing and other products are geared to young families with children from 0 to 10 years of age.

1993 HABA S.a.r.l. is established in Evry near Paris. The French branch distributes our products to specialized dealers, nursery schools, leisure centers and other institutions.

1997 Kukubilli is created. The agency for playful communication puts on unusual events for children and adults.

1998 The HABA corporate family the loose association of HABA, Wehrfritz, JAKO-O, T.C.Timber and Kukubilli is founded.

2002 The production branch T.C.Timber, Habermaass Corp. becomes HABA USA, Habermaass Corp., purely a distribution company.

2004 JAKO-O launches two new catalogues: FIT-Z has fashion and more for boys and girls aged 10+, Qiéro! Is the catalogue for parents in their middle years.

The process of expansion at home and abroad has naturally had a add-on effect on our employees as well; the number of men and women HABA employs has doubled since 1997. Whereas we had a workforce of just 300 in 1978, today more than 1,500 employees apply their experience and skills to making the corporate family a success. We stand by our site in the Franconian town of Bad Rodach, and are actively engaged in keeping and creating jobs in the region.

We are International
Under the HABA brand names we distribute our complete range of products from our corporate family to some 6,000 specialized dealers and social institutions all over the world. We bundle the knowledge of all our sales divisions to enable children in other countries to develop as well.
Besides our branches in France and the USA, HABA has its own agencies in 20 other countries, including Switzerland, Japan, Italy, Korea, Russia and Slovenia. Our catalogs are printed in more than 15 different languages.

We are a wood manufacturing company known for our high-quality baby and children?s toys, as well as our childrens games and furniture. We view ourselves as a "single source supplier" for children. We are expanding our product portfolio beyond wood products using the same high quality standards for which we are known. Thus, HABA also offers jewelry, porcelain dishes and textiles, for example. HABA products may be found in well-stocked toy stores around the globe.

Under the motto "Made for Parents, Devised by Parents" everything is in high gear here in Bad Rodach. We are parents just like our customers. Which is why we know firsthand what young families need, and what usually causes pressure in everyday life.
We take the designator "selected" very seriously! Only products that have passed testing for utility, quality, and price with our own children make it into our catalog.

Wehrfritz:
The specialist not just for kindergartens.
For over 60 years, Wehrfritz GmbH has been a single-source supplier of furniture, playground equipment, toys, craft supplies, and more for kindergartens.
We also cater to the littlest ones in childcare center and for the older children in elementary schools and participating in after-school care programs.
With our furniture and therapy materials we also help with special needs and handicapped audience, as well as the elderly.
In short, for furnishing social care facilities, Wehrfritz is an ideal partner.
